I just learned about using Animoto and think this could be a great tool to use both personally and professionally. This tool has great application in using creative means to integrate and prioritize information to present and store. I think it is a great teaching and learning tool because it has the potential to drive easy/quick integration of information, data, and messaging.

I am learning alot about websites and blogging. My first follower is a Phillies fan, which is great because I am traveling to Philly on business "off and on" for the next several weeks....coincidence? I am new to blogging so I look forward to posting on other's pages and seeing how the blog rolling goes.

Class Introduction

This class certainly looks to be a great eye-opener to new communication channels and opportunities to extend learning. I am looking forward to putting the pieces together and making them helpful in my current role in business, as well as future opportunities in classroom learning.

I am very interested to learn more about podcasting. I found the above link to be a great introduction to the concept and methods related to podcasting. Given I currently work in a global business marketing role for a $1b company, I am finding the use of podcasts more and more relevant for both internal communications and communications with our customers. I also see great practicalities for the use of these tools in on-line learning and education in both school and business setting.
